TPR活动
教师边说以前所学动词词语，边带领学生做相应的动作，如run, jump, play football, go swimming等， 使学生逐步进入学习状态，为新课的学习做好铺垫。
新课呈现（Presentation）
教师出示准备好的以前所学动词的教学卡片，让学生认读，并鼓励学生说出相关的动词词语。以卡片play为例：
T: Can you make phrases with this word?
S1: play basketball.
T: Good. Here you are.(给说的好的学生一枚奖励贴)
2）让学生带着以下问题观看第一遍视频：Who are they？ 学生看完视频后举手回答：They’re Lily, her grandpa, her father and her mother.
小建议： 教师也可展示教学挂图，让学生仔细观察后回答。
3）让学生带着以下问题观看第二遍视频：What are they doing? 看完后举手回答，答对的学生可以得到一枚奖励贴卡片。
S1: Lily is cleaning her room.
S2: Her dad is writing an email on the computer
S3: Her mum is washing the clothes.
再次播放视频，让学生核对以上问题的答案。然后教师用课件出示本课的应用句型，板书句型，进行总结：
I’m cleaning her room.
Dad is writing an email on the computer.
Mum is washing the clothes.
播放视频，让学生在情境中感知理解本课会话，要求学生跟读模仿，教师随后做朗读指导：
Can I speak to Grandpa?
Are you coming here with your parents this morning?
What are you doing?
趣味操练（Practice）
竞赛游戏：将全班分为A、B两组，教师在黑板上设立评分表。
教师用课件放一组熊猫Panda正在做动作的图片，让学生边看边模仿熊猫的语气用句型I’m v-ing描述，展开竞赛，描述对的组可得1分，活动结束后师生共同进行评价。
