教学过程
一、Revision(激发兴趣 情景导入)
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song : What are you doing?
3. Revise the present participle of the verbs.
4. Chant together:
Writing, writing, I′m writing.
Singing, singing, I′m singing.
Washing, washing, I′m washing.
Looking, looking, I′m looking.
二、Presentation(创设情境 呈现新知)
1.Teacher shows the PPT and says ,“Who is the boy?”Students answer. And then teacher asks the boy :“What are you doing?”the boy answers,“I'm eating.”
Teacher shows another pictures and get the students to ask and answer in pairs according to the picture: “What are you doing ? I'm v-ing.”
2.Teacher shows the picture and says, “Look at the boy! What's he doing? ”,students answer it ,“He's looking at the picture.”
Teacher says, “Let's guess: What's he looking at? Is he looking at the grass? If you think ‘Yes’, you can answer: ‘Yes, he is.’ If you think‘No’, you can answer:‘ No, he isn’t.’ ”.
Teacher asks some students ,“Is he looking at the grass?” Students can have different answer it.
Practise asking and answering it in pairs.
3. Teacher points to the Great Wall and asks ,“What's this ? Right! It's the Great Wall .Is he looking at the Great Wall(长城)?”Students can answer it .According to the students’answers, says,“I don't think so.(摇头)I think he’s looking at the grass. If you don't think so ,you can answer , ‘I don't think so.(摇头)’Do you understand?”.
Students practise saying “I don't think so.” pair by pair.
4. Play a guessing game.
Teacher shows the moon and asks,“What's this ?”Students answer,“ It's the moon .”Put it on the blackboard .And call out one boy come to the front and face to the blackboard and asks, “Is he looking at the moon?”Students can have different answers. At last, Teacher asks the boy,“Are you looking at the moon?”The boy answers.“Yes, I am./ No, I’m not. I’m …./ I don't think so. ”.
Call out another boy and repeat with the sun.
