Step 1 Warming—up (复习 ——温故、引新)

1. Sing a song.

2. Let Ss introduce months we have learned. (1-4) How many months are there in a year?

What are they? What holidays are there?。

Step 2. Presentation (呈现 ——输入、理解)

1.创设情境:Last Saturday was my mother’s birthday. I bought a big cake for her. We had a great time. I love my mother best. What about you? Do you love your mum? As we know, we have a Mother’s Day。 Do you know when it is?

2.提出问题让学生说一说母亲节并引导学生讨论问题What can we do on Mother`s Day?

3.引导学生听录音,了解录音中谈论的是什么节日,人们都做什么。提出以下问题,提示孩子认真听,并找到问题的答案。

What is the fifth month of the year?

What can people do?

When is Labour Day?

5.T shows some pictures about sports meeting and talk about Children’s Day.

5. Introduce the other festival in June.

6.Do the reading ,learn June.

Step3: Practise

Listen to the tape and read the text.

Try to introduce May and June in their own language.

Step4: Language use

Free Talk: Which month do you like? Why?

Choose the month and try to introduce in their own language.
