II、Teaching Process:

Step1:

T: I have some words. Let's have a look!

Step2:

T: If we want to ask the place. We can say: " Where is the ...?"

T: Let's play a game. Guess the place.

T: What's this?----street ( learn street)

T: This situation is: go down ( learn go down )

T: So we call it: Go down the street.

T: One ask and one answer. ( students make a dialogue)

Step3:

T: A new word: left ( learn left)

T: on the left-----on the right.

T: Let's play a game. Guess it is on the left or on the right?

T: The bookshop is on the left. (students do the exchange practice. And I stick it on the blackboard.)

T: Let's make a dialogue.

Step4:

T: nurse ---nur---bur---fur---pur---hur---sur---tur---turn ( learn turn)

T: turn left---turn right ( game: I say, you do)

T: What's this? ----light. One light, two lights ( game: light-lights)

T: Look this new word: traffic ( learn traffic)

T: So this is traffic lights. (red、yellow、green）

T: It is a small place. We can add "at" ---at the traffic lights

T: turn left/ turn right at the traffic lights

Step5:

T: Look, from left to the right , this situation we call it cross.( learn cross)

T: cross the street

T: Open your books turn to page 18.Let's read the text.
