2教学重点
利用脑风暴、猜谜等活动训练本课的重点句型:What kind of cake would you like? What shape would you like? 并借助于师生之间的互动、生生之间的互动交流本课的重点语句,谈论对方想要的蛋糕的形状及口味。
3学时难点
本课的教学难点是理解并能正确使用表示食品口味和形状的形容词;能够结合真实情景谈论自己想要的蛋糕形状和口味。为了突破这一难点,我运用了情景教学法,精心设计了如下两个真实的情境:到Lucy的蛋糕店买蛋糕和为即将过生日的同学制作蛋糕,让学生在真实的环境中习得语言、运用语言、交流语言。

【导入】㈠ 激趣导入,感受新知
1. Introduce today’s topic and knowledge.
T: Boys and girls, today we’ll communicate with our friends about preparing a birthday party. And we will learn some new words about shapes and kinds.
S: Listen to the teacher carefully.
2. Divide the class into four parts and say something about the shapes.
(此时学生边说教师边走到黑板前贴出生词: heart-shaped)
S: We’re Heart-shaped Group.
T: Kids, do you have heart-shaped things?
S: I have a heart-shaped …
3.?Brian Storm.
⑴?Do the dialogue with the new word: star-shaped.
T: I think you’re so great! So I’ll show you my beautiful box. It’s not round, rectangle or square. And it’s not heart-shaped, either. Look! What shape is it? Do you know? Yes, It’s a star-shaped box. (教师边说边在黑板贴出星形卡片并板书单词)
S: It’s star.
T: In our life, what is star-shaped?
S: … is star-shaped.
T: Look! I have some star-shaped things. Can you find them?
S: I can see a star-shaped …
⑵ Watch and say aloud.
T: But is that box star-shaped, too?
S: No, it’s a heart-shaped box.
T: There are full of wonderful things in the heart-shaped box. Would you like to have a look?
