5. Introduction of the teaching target?(学情分析):?The students in Grade Six are characterized by curiosity and boundless enthusiasm about activities、performances and imitation. Through three years of English learning, they have a certain amount of vocabulary and initial abilities to recognize and read English words. Meanwhile, they show strong interest in learning English. But their persistence in learning is still very inadequate. Therefore, in view of Ss’ cognitive characteristics and levels, appropriate teaching methods should be used, in order to stimulate their enthusiasm and protect their self-confidence.?

(1).Look at this picture. This is my friend Lily. They are Lily’s parents. They are in Beijing now. They like Beijing very much. They are going to stay in Beijing for three days. Now, I’m a tour guide. (Learn the word: tour guide)I will take them to visit some interesting places in Beijing. Would you like to join us? Ss: Sure! I’d love to.(2)、Learn the words and sentences:①ppt: (出示景点图片)the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heave.②?Practice the phrases in groups.(3)Show a map of China and some cities. Talk about the cities and directions with the students. T: This is a map of China. There are many cities in China. (Teach the new sentences and help Ss Make up new dialogues (4)To listen T: Please first listen and then discuss, last answer some questions. Eg: Where are they going to visit?﹨ When are they going to visit the famous places? What can we learn ?

(use the new words and phrases to make up new dialogues by yourselves.)(5)practice the dialogues in pairs

Look at the picture again. Let’s listen to a conversation ,please listen carefully and then fill in the forms.(6) Show the flash.
