Step1. Warming up

师生间简单的问候，欣赏《Postman Postman》歌曲，并引出课题Lesson 13 Let’s Buy Postcards！

【设计意图：英文歌曲，激发学生英语口语表达的兴趣，并引出课题，歌曲中出现的letter为本课学习理解三种通讯方式做铺垫。】

Step2.Presentation

1.出示一张明信片，讲授postcard，引导学生由词到句说出This is a postcard. 展示多张明信片引导学生说出These are postcards.并提问What’s on a postcard?

生：A postcard has a picture on it.

引出This postcard has a picture of _______.

举例练习句型 This postcard has a picture of the Great Wall.

This postcard has a picture of the Palace Museum.

出示信件实物讲授单词letter，引导学生说出句子This is a letter.

师：Where do we write a letter? 生：We write a letter on paper.

师：谜语导入单词email。You don’t use your pen. You write it on a computer. What is it?

生：This is an email. We write an email on a computer.

通过finger game, bomb game , touch and say游戏来操练单词和句型。

【设计意图：通过实物讲授单词，让学生能直观感知，并以游戏的方式来练习单词句型，激发学生兴趣。】

【设计意图：通过自编歌曲朗朗上口的节奏，学生边做动作边唱，巩固了所学，调动了学生英语表达的积极性。】

师将一张明信片放入自制的邮箱中，做出send（寄出）的动作，来讲授send的用法，并引导学生说出I want to send this postcard to____.

Group work.?小组讨论。介绍自己手中的明信片，并运用句型：This postcard has a picture of ________. I want to send _____ to____.

【设计意图：借助实物教具，让学生在实际运用中理解所学，提高学生的英语表达能力。】
