四、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up /revision.

Greetings.

Introduce the new unit.

Follow me. Stand up please, and jump with me. Follow me please. Jump, jump, jump, run, run, run, fly, fly, fly.

Step 2 Presentation.

New words :jump high,jump far.

(1) Look at that beautiful flower. Who can help me to catch it? Can you jump high? Yes? Jump jump jump high. ( Praise the girl or the boy when the student gets the flower.)

(2) Stick the new words “jump high” on the blackboard. Ask each student to read the words while jumping high to touch the picture.

(3) And then show them another picture “jump far”. Ask the students to read the new words groups by groups.

(4) Show them the picture of two children. One is Peter, another one is Anne. Please guess who can jump high? Who can jump far?

(5) Chant together.

Jump high jump high. Peter can jump high. Jump far jump far Anne can jump far.

New words : swim fast ,run fast.

(1) Show them a picture of a running man. Follow me please. Run slowly,run slowly ,run fast ,run fast.

(2) Have a contest between two children. One is a boy, another one is a girl. Who can run fast? He or she? Can you tell me? Yes, she can run fast.

(3) Show them a picture of a swimming child. Follow me please swim,

swim slowly, swim fast. Swim like a frog. Swim like a dog.

(4) Let's chant together.

4. Expansion.

(1) Guessing game. Select two children. They act a dancer or a spy. All the children ask them some questions. Can you run? Can you swim? Can you dance? Can you shoot? Can you climb the tree? And then the children judge who is the dancer who is the spy. And tell us the reason. And the spy tell all the children the truth.
