Step 1 Warming-up

Greetings.

A game-----I do ,you say.

Step 2 Presentation and drill

引导学生唱“Happy birthday to you”

T: Are we having music class?

教授music class,并引导学生说No, it isn’t.

T: Today is not my birthday, either. My birthday is on Saturday,so I hope today is Saturday.板书标题。

T: Today is Saturday?

Ss: No, it isn’t.

T: What day is it today?

引导学生说出Today is Thursday.

T: How about tomorrow.

帮助理解tomorrow,并回答Tomorrow is Friday.

T: I like Saturday, because my birthday is on Saturday. What day do you like? Why?

用这种方式引出Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

A game----幸运大转盘

学生围绕转盘小跑,当老师说“stop”时停下,并利用句型“Today is…”及“I can…”来表达对应的时间和活动。

Part A

(1)T:You know, my birthday is on Saturday. How about Peter? When’s Peter’s birthday?

播放录像,找出答案

(2) 自读课文,圈出文中所提到的星期几的名称,并判断Peter是否开心,画出相应的笑脸或哭脸。

(3)Listen and repeat.

我是模仿小巨星。

组内讨论,自行分工,分别模仿Peter每天的状态。还可自由发挥。
