If we break the traffic rules, we may get a fine and even be in danger.
Ability aims
(1) Be able to make sentences with “IF”

Learn more traffic signs and how to talk about the traffic rules in English.
Master the usage of “IF”, and be able to make sentences with it
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Revision
Ask students to say out the advantages of cycling with a picture after greeting students Then lead to 1a by. the question:
Are we always safe when riding?
Step 2 Presentation
Ask students to find out the new words, phrases and “if ”clauses by reading 1a,then learn the new words with the help of pictures,
For example:
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a __ (自行车头盔)。
(The teacher helps ss say out the word and read it with the students.)
T: What do we use it for?
Ss: We use it to protect our heads.
T: Should we wear bicycle helmets ?
(The teacher helps ss learn the phrase)
Ss: Yes, we should.
Then students learn other words and phrases in the same way.
Let students listen to 1a with the following questions , then ask students to answer them, the teacher praises one by one whiling checking for the students.
