教学重难点
1.教学重点: 能听懂、会说、会认读新单词:Junuary, February, march, April, May,June, July, August, September, October, November, December 并能能用When is your birthday?对生日进行提问并能用My birthday is in... It’s on the …of…作出应答。
2.教学难点:关于月份单词的认读,特别是January和February的读音。单词一至十二月的正确排列顺序。

I. warn-up
Greetings.
Welcome today’s special student.
T:Good morning, boys and girls. Today we have a very special person. Let’s count and welcome her. 30,29,28,…3,2,1.Welcome Luo Xueyan. Today is her birthday. Let’s sing Happy Birthday to her.(sing the song)
【设计意图】通过倒计时让学生很快明白今天的学习与数字有关,为课堂中使用序数词表达日期做铺垫。生日快乐歌解释本节课的主题与询问生日有关。
II. Presentation
Introduce March, April and May
T: How old are you?
Luo: I’m 11 years old.
T: When is your birthday?
Luo: My birthday is in spring.
T: I like spring. My birthday is in spring .too. Who has a birthday in spring?
Ss:Me.(生日在春天的同学举手)
T:You,please.
S1:My birthday is In…(可能是三、四、五任何一个月)
(运用已知句型Is your birthday in…? When is your birthday?引导学生回答March, April and May.带读并引导学生认读这三个单词。谈论重要节日eg. Tree Planting Day, Easter, May Day and Mother’s Day.初步运用first,twelfth两个序数词表达。)
