S: Birthday Cakes.
T: Yes . These are birthday cakes. Today is my birthday. Can you sing a birthday song for me?
(放音乐，教师和学生一起唱 “Happy birthday”)
T: Thank you very much, I’m very happy today. My birthday is in March. Do you know when is your birthday? Today ，we are going to learn “Unit 5 When is your birthday?”(揭示课题并板书)

T: My birthday is in March. Do you know how to say the other months?
课件出示月份单词，用多种方式逐步教学单词，并将单词卡片贴在黑板上。
（2）T：How many months are there in a year? (课件出示12个月份单词)
教师引导学生观察12个单词，寻找其规律。
（3）Game 1: Magic eyes
仔细观察，说出消失的单词。答对的同学可以为本小组加一颗星。
Game 2: Guess game
猜一猜，谁是幸运儿。选两名同学各猜一个月份单词，猜中可得分。
