当有同学回答五月的时候导入Mother’s Day.(Congratulations! May is a special month. It is Mother’s Day!)
设计意图:通过月份歌活跃了课堂气氛,也让学生复习了前一课的月份词,从而引出本单元课题Mother’s Day.
Step two Presentation
1、T asks ”What will you say to your mother on this day?”
Ss answer” I love you, mom! Happy Mother’s Day!”
2、What will you do for your mother?
I will=I’ll make ﹨ write﹨buy ﹨cook......on Mother’s Day.
(师一边出示图片,一边学习新词汇,学生进行练习)
3、Listen to Part A and answer what Anne﹨ Lingling﹨ Peter﹨ Mingming will do for their mother.
4、Listen again and imitate the radio.
5、Summarize the sentence patterns of Part A.
设计意图:通过谈论学生在母亲节当天将对母亲说什么,做什么,学习了本单元词汇及句型。并且通过课文又对句型进行了巩固,为下一步的小组活动打下了基础。
Step three Group work
1、SS. talk about their gifts and what they will do for their mother on Mother’s Day.(小礼物是课前已经准备好的,用I’ll 句型来表达)
2、SS. show their gifts and give a report to class.
3、T gives an assessment.
设计意图:学生运用学习的句型自由进行谈论,同学们可以小组进行交流,不会的句型可以小组互帮,活跃了课堂气氛,也体现了小组的团结意识。在课堂上展示自己做的小礼品,可以体现孩子们的孝心及提升其自豪感。
