【讲授】Presentation

T: There is a festival that is to show our thanks to our mothers. Do you know it.

T: What do you know about Mother’s Day?

T: The origin of Mother‘s Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans.

In the U.S. Mothers‘ Day is a holiday celebrated on the second Sunday in May. It is a day when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts, and flowers.

It means the Mother’s Day is coming.

2 What will you do for your mother ?

T: Candy will also do something for her mother. Let’s guess. I will draw the picture. please guess. .(设计意图：利用简笔画和图片、课件真实地呈现知识，唤起学生已有的生活经验，帮助他们理解本课的单词和词组，运用新的句型。)
