2. 应用目标

1)引导学生了解序数词以及其缩写的构成形式,引导生总结其构词规律。

2)利用小组合作的任务,培养学生小组合作的能力。

3. 情感目标

要积极锻炼身体。培养学生良好的心态,引导学生理解人生有各种各样的比赛,一方面力求做到最好;另一方面,理解失败是成功之母,坦然接受失败,正面面对失败。

教学重、难点:

1.重点:能够听、说、读、写1-10序数词:first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth,并了解序数词缩写的构成形式。能够听懂,会说以下句型:Who was…? XX was …

2.难点:句型:Who was…? XX was …在语篇中的运用。

教学过程:

Step 1 Revision

1.Greetings .

2.Read words together. From one to ten . T : What ‘s missing ? The students answer . T:OK .Boys and girls, Let’s play a dictation competition .Dictation competition for missing words “one to ten”.Are you ready?

3.Summarize the results. T:Have you done? No1-10 pupils who have done your dictation write your names on the blackboard ,please. (一个学生在黑板上进行听写,并由学生自己操作将前十名的名单写在黑板上)

设计意图:本课的主题是比赛,利用学生听写基数词one----ten来比赛,为学习序数词巧妙地埋下伏笔。让学生的听写结果直接写在黑板上,结果一目了然。

Step 2 Presentation

利用英语听写比赛导入.

1.Learn words “first---fifth”.

T:There was a dictation competition. Let’s look at the result s on the blackboard. Who was No.1 ? XX was No.1, XX was first... Who was No.2 ? XX was No.2,XX was second...Who was No.3 ? XX was No.3,XX was third...

The students ask and answer together .通过自然拼读学习first、third。

设计意图:创设真实的情境,学生谈论比赛的结果自然引出序数词的学习。因为活动与学生息息相关,提高了学生的学习兴趣。

1.Learn words “sixth – tenth” by themselves.

1)T: Let’s read the words together: four-fourth, five-fifth, what can you see?

Please find out the rule, and try to write the words on the right by yourself and spell them out.

2)T: The left ones are called 基数词,the right ones are called 序数词。 What do you discover?

3)T: They are the short form for 序数词。Read them very carefully, what do you find out?

设计意图:引导学生自己观察基数词与序数词的变化,而后自己尝试写出、并读出sixth ---tenth。接下来学生打开教科书验证结果,最后自己总结序数词及其缩写的规律。鼓励学生在实践中学习语言,在犯错中成长,在观察中自主归纳规律,强调学习的过程,培养学生自主学习的能力。

2.Practice .

T: Let’s look at the result of the dictation competition. Practice in pairs .“ Who was first /second /third? XX was first /second /third”.

设计意图:通过本课主要句型Who was…? XX was …谈论刚刚结束的听写比赛的结果,学生就真实任务来操练句型,培养了学生的语用能力。
