First,let’s enjoy a song Traffic Safety Song.Do you like it?
Good morning, boys and girls! I’m very happy today . I hope you are happy, too. Now I have an idea .In this class ,you are divided into six groups . Among you there is a competition. Time to see who are the winners and they can get a present . Are you clear ? Are you ready ?Let’s begin our competition. Now please look at the picture,what’s this? Can you ride a bike ? Why do you like riding ? But bicycle Riding is not perfect.
Stage 2(2mins):Lead-in
Talk with the Ss about how to ride safely to lead to 1a and learn some new words . Show a picture of a traffic accident.Talk about it. What happened ?Why?Because they broke the traffic rules.
From the picture ,we have known riding bikes is not always safe. Bicycle accidents may happen if the rider is careless, or disobey the traffic rules, or even wears improperly. Do you know anything about cycling equipment ?
A helmet. What else?
A light is necessary if you like riding at night . Do you have to wear special clothes if you ride at night?
Cycling clothes may help you look cool, but they may be expensive, too. You can wear light-colored clothes instead if you have to ride at night .
