(三)情感目标

激发学生对太空探索的兴趣。

教学重难点：

重点：能用“Our Earth looks like this in space.”描述某物看起来像什么。

难点：用已有的科学知识讨论和描述太空和地球的特征。

教学过程：

Step 1 Warm-up

Let’s sing “ How’s the weather? ” .

Step 2 Presentation

1、Lead-in

T：How’s the weather today?

Yes, it’s a nice day. Let’s go on an outing,OK?

Where are we going? Can you guess?

(引入space -> We’ll go to the space. -> We’ll go to the Space Museum.)

2、New words & sentences.

（1）T： Do you know something about the space?

For example, what can you see in space?

(用图片和句型“I can see...in space.”引入“ the sun”、 “ the moon”、 “ stars”、 “ the Earth”.)

（2）T：Look, the moon looks like a boat. What do you think?

(用图片和句型“The moon looks like...”引导学生掌握和运用“look like ...”.)

（3）T：There is a cineme in the Space Museum. Let’s watch a film. There are 3 films. First let’s watch a film about the sun.

(播放关于the sun、the Earth、the moon的视频，激发学生兴趣。)

（4）T：Are you interested in the space?

（引导学生回答：I am interested in the space. I want to find out more about the space/Earth.）
