Step 1 Warm-up
Greetings
T: Good morning. Boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning. Miss Ding.
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine,too.
Sing a song: The More We Get Together.
Step 2 Presentation
New words
(1) 教师与学生自由对话,引入新词的学习。
T: The happier we’ll be (唱出刚刚歌曲的最后一句),Boys and girls, are you happy today?
Ss: Yes, we are happy.
T: En, good. Me, too. But now, there is a boy,he is not happy. Look.
屏幕上出示一张男孩很累的图片。
T:Look, the boy is tired. (出示单词卡片tired,板书并带读这个单词)Do you know why this boy is tired? Because last night, he made a dream. There was a monster in his dream. Look, this is that monster. (屏幕上出示怪兽的图片和单词,板书并带读,同时,给他
们看到单词afraid,板书并带读)Oh, I’m afraid of it. Boys and girls, are you afraid of it?
接下来,教师用这个问题问几个学生。一些学生回答“Yes, I’m afraid of it.”。一些学生回答“No, I’m not afraid. ”那么问他们害怕什么(What are you afraid of ?)
教师指着黑板上的单词问一个学生:“Can you read these new words? ”当他或她读完这些单词时,教师表扬:Wonderful ! You are so clever .
将单词clever 板书到黑板上,教给学生正确的发音。
