Step 1.Warming up.

The teacher and all students greet each other.

Step 2. Lead- in.

The teacher show some family’s photos ,then ask several students to describe in the front of the classroom. In order to attract the students’ interests and lead in to the new lesson in class.

Step 3. New lesson.

1.check and study the new words and phrases of this lesson, and read them again and again.

2.Practice: Fill in the blanks with new words.

Step4.Show LiMing’s family tree ,ask some questions and describe LiMing’s family tree.

Step5.Activities.

1.Listen to the tape on part1,then fill in the blanks.

2.Read part1 and answer the questions.

3.Listen to the tape on part2,then fill in the blanks.

4.Read part2 and answer the questions.

Step6.Retell the passage.

Ask several students to retell the passage by using the mind-map in class.

Step 7.Practice: Ask several students to act out the dialogue.

Step8: Work in groups. Ask the students to draw and label your own family tree in part4 in Let’s do it. Then ask them to show and introduce it.

Step9.Summary. Sum up the language points of this lesson.
