五、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
Greet students and tell them I have some good news for them to arouse their interest.

Step 2 Lead-in
Play the video for them and tell them if they want to go to the zoo with Linda they should finish the 5 tasks first.
【设计说明】以学生想和Linda一起去动物园为契机,让学生完成五个任务,将单纯的练习融入任务中。
Step 3 Ask for and give directions.
Show students a map of the city and ask them to give Danny directions. Then ask students to practice asking and giving directions with their partners. Guide students to make a summary about how to ask for and give directions.
【设计说明】 先通过看地图进行口头训练来复习问路、指路。然后,引导学生笔头归纳总结如何问路、指路。同时,引导学生在导学案纸的下方进行自我评价。
Step 4 Talk about shopping
Tell students LiHua is in a clothes store and he wants to buy a red T-shirt, but he can’t speak English well. Ask students to help him and complete the conversation.
Then, lead students to make a summary about how to be a polite customer or clerk.

Step 5 Talk about farm animals
Ask students to listen to a conversation about Linda’s farm, and then fill in the blanks. Then check the answers and lead them to talk about farm animals.
