Step 1 Warm up ( 5’)
导入新课 : 播放英文歌曲和多张世界名胜古迹的图片
T :Hello, everyone. Do you like this English song?

Can you tell me its name ?.

课件出示一张世界地图,谈论几个本单元已经学过的国家.
T: Look ! This is a map of the world .
指着地图上涂色的几个国家提问:
What country is it ?
Right ! We live in China . What language do we speak as our first language ?
Yes . We speak Chinese as our first language .
(板书 : as ...... first language)
What about the yellow one /the green one /the purple one?
根据学生回答板书: Australia Canada the U.S. the U.K.
What direction is Australia /Canada /the U.S./the U.K. from China?
(板书 : What direction is /are …... from …... ?)
What language do people speak as their first language ?
(板书:People speak English as their first language . )
So we call them English-speaking countries.
