[设计意图]本课时的教学内容是冀教版七年级英语下册第一单元的第三课.本课重点在于引导学生谈论西安的标志性建筑物和文化,从“西安之旅”视频开始,自然地导入谈论西安的标志性建筑物、饮食和文化的话题。通过练习听力练习训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用动作、手势和图片学习英语单词,同时反复运用新学的单词和短语。最后通过学习,能用已经学习的词汇,谈论西安的标志性建筑物和文化。让学生们了解西安的城市特色,增进学生们对于祖国的了解与热爱。

StepⅠ. Warming up
1.Show a map of the silk road and ask the students questions:
T: There are three famous cities along the silk road, can you find them?
S: They are Xi’an, Lanzhou and Dunhuang.
T: What can you see in these places?
S: We can see ...
Today we are going to the first city--- Xi’an for our trip.
StepⅡ. Lead in
Let the students watch a video about Xi’an and ask them the two questions.
(1) Which city is the man going?
(2) What can you see in this video?
[设计意图] 本课主要讲丝绸之路的始发站西安，所以以古丝绸之路地图为开端，让学生了解西安的重要作用,活跃课堂气氛。紧接着播放有关西安之旅的视频，让学生能够身临其境的感受西安的底蕴与文化。同时引入在之后学习中会使用到的词汇、短语和句型。

1.Listen to Part 1 and fill in the blanks.
