StepⅠ.Lead in
Introduce some places we have visitted before (Xi’an and Lanzhou). Tell students that we will take a tour to anothe place of interest.
Play a piece of vedio about Dunhuang.Lead students to be in a nice backgroud of this lesson .
StepⅡ.Presentation
1.Show the students pictures and learn the new words and expressions on PPT4&5:another, main, sand, believe, sir, safe, fall, take a tour, be famous as, on one’s way to, fall off, all right.
2.Ask the students to copy 13 new words in Leaing - in paper for one time .Then ask some of the students to tell me Chinese and English to new world.

3.Question student one by one
4.Ask students to read Lesson5 loudly by thenselves ,and they have to underline phrases on PPT 5.Then Try to wrire Chinese beside these phrases.
