Step 1:Lead in
1.? What is Jenny’s project about?
设计思路:通过对上一课课文内容的回顾,引出今天所要学的课文,过渡自然。
Step 2:Present
1.Show the picture of the new words.Teach the students to pronounce the new words.
Teacher:Look at the pictue.Can you name the country?
Help the students name the country or continent:Italy,Europe,Asia.
Teacher:Ask and answer
Ask two students to ask and answer the new words.
2,Do some exercises about th words
设计思路:充分运用多媒体,让丰富多彩的图片把今天所要接触到的人物,地理和生词全部体现出来,使学生在直观,生动的氛围中接受新的知识。
Step 3:Listen
1.Play the audiotape for Lesson8.Play it once and ask the students just to listen.
2.Play the audiotape a second time and ask the students to complete the exercise.
3.Read through the statements and check the answers as a class.
Step4:Read
Instruct the students to read Lesson8 silently and then finish all the questons.
Step5: Role play
One student acts as Marco Polo,the other one acts as a reporter.
