Let the students say some instruments. for example: guitar, drum, guzheng, piano, erhu.

1)Show the pictures of instruments.
Teacher: What is it?
Students: it’s erhu.
Teacher: Right .It is a musical instrument. Can you play the erhu? When i was a little child, i learned to play the erhu, but i can play one song. Many western people call the erhu ---- the “Chinese violin”. Read after me, ”violin”
So just now we have learned about some instruments. And now i am thinking about learning some instruments, can you guess which instrument am i thinking about learning? I am thinking about learning the erhu, it is a part of Chinese culture. Right? now look at the boy , which instrument is he thinking about learning? He is thinking about learning the violin.
Now the summer holiday is coming. You are thinking about learning some instruments, which instrument are you thinking about learning? i am thinking about learning the erhu. Maybe you will be a erhu player, i hope so. you can play music for us. Again....
Write "erhu" and "violin" on the blackboard. Students should understand the meaning of the words and phrases.
