四、教学步骤
Step 1 Revision (about 7 min)
1.Have a diction: Teacher speaks Chinese, students write down the English words or expressions they learnt yesterday.
2.Translation:Let some students translate the passage sentence by sentence, and others say out the English sentences together.
3.Review the verbs of senses and the words which have more than one meaning. Then make students make sentences by using them.
【设计思路】:通过听写检查学生对于上节课重要词汇的掌握情况。并翻译原文来复习课文表达。最后复习感官动词和有多个意思的词,并用它们来造句,让学生熟练掌握它们的用法。
Step 2 Presentation (about 12 min)
1.Teacher reads several classical paragraphs of Marco Polo’s Travels and tells students that it’s a good habit for someone to write travels after trip.
2.Let students show their souvenirs and pictures they bought and took during the trip and told others something about their trips.
3.Listen to the tape: Answer the following questions:
(1)Where did Li Ming have a trip?
(2)What did he realize?
(3)What did he learn from the trip?
