T: What do you usually do on weekends?
S: I usually read a book, watch TV...
T:I usually surf the Internet, do cooking, do housework and visit my parents.
Then present some pictures to show new words:surf, Internet, cooking, housework.
Write the new words on the blackboard.
T:Do you have big plans for this weekend? Our classmate Chen Ao has big plans for this weekend. Watch the video, and find out what Chen Ao is going to do this weekend?
设计意图: 由谈论一般现在时自然转入谈论将来时,由此进入新课.
Step3 Presenting
T:I have big plans for this weekend ,too. My mother’s birthday is coming soon, just on this Sunday. So I often go somewhere in a hurry these days. Actually, I am going to buy a present for her. I am going to give my mother a surprise on her birthday. Let students guess the meaning of the words underlined. Write the words on the blackboard. Students read after the new words several times. Give them one minute to read and recite, then check the spelling and reading.
