(二)教学重难点?

在课堂中,通过主人公和奶奶打电话聊周末见面将要开展的活动,熟悉动词短语,运用将来时be going to结构进行复述;通过思维导图让学生总结自己周末活动,并运用将来时be going to 进行能力提升,形式自己的周末活动安排。

二、教学过程

lead-in

Greet students and show students a picture of my grandma. In which my wife is helping her clean her eyes. Tell students I love my grandma and ask whether they love their grandparents.

Step1. Ask students to listen to this lesson and get the first impression. Tick what they hear in the listening script.

1. She is going to the bookstore.

2. She is going to read an English story to her grandma.

3. She is going to visit her grandma.

4. She is going to buy some groceries at the market.

5. She is going to have dumplings with her grandparents.

Step 2. Deep Reading.

Ask students to read the lesson again and work in groups to finish the answers :

1.What is Zhao Hanyu doing?

2.Where is She going first before she visits her grandma?

3.Where does Zhao Hanyu’s grandma always buy her groceries? Why?

4. What are they going to have for dinner? Why?

Step3. Presentation.

Future Tense

Review the Future Tense be going to

Make a clue about Zhao and her grandma’s to help students understand the text better.

Ask students to use their own words to retell the story:

What is Zhao Hanyu’s weekend?

Step4. Practice

1. What will students do this weekend? Make a mind map about weekend to help students get more information.

2. Use the words summarized above to talk about the coming weekend.
