1)Ask the students to read the title of Lesson 24 and discuss.
Teacher:What tense is the title in (i.e.past,present or future)?
Help the students answer this question.
Students:It’s in the past tense.

1) Instruct the students to read Lesson 24 and answer the questions in pairs.
2) Students should check and correct their answers in groups.
3)Discuss the questions and answers as a class.
Language points
Ask what the pronoun “it”is referring to in the sentences in Danny‘s e-mail( It’s.. three hours away from my house. “It” is referring to the mountain)Encourage the students to make up their own using this construction.
Ask: students should use the word everybody properly answering Inform the students that the word everybody is the opposite of nobody.

Tell them healthy weekend and unhealthy weekend,ask them to choose their favourite weekend activities.

Instruct the students to work in groups and interview one another about past and future weekend. Remind students to follow the example in the student book.Students may want to copy the table into their own notes before filling it out.
