Step1. Class opening and Review
Greet the class.
Listen to a song“Last weekend”.Talk about the weekend with the class.And ask:What did you do last weekend? Let some students answer the question.
Teacher: Do you want to know what I did last weekend?
(Show a picture) I joined a swim team last weekend,I swam with my friends,everybody was happy. I had a good weekend.
Write “everybody”and “have a good/great weekend”on the blackboard.
Show a picture of Zhao Hanyu and ask:What is she going to do?(review last class)
Step2. Presentation
T:Zhao Hanyu has some plans for her weekend.I have some plans,too.I am going to climb a mountain,I will take a bus there.It’s three hours away from my home.
Write take a bus and It’s...away from..on the blackboard.
Look at the pictures and answer the questions.
What did you do last weekend?
What are you going to do next weekend?
Step 3. Practice
Look the pictures and make dialogue with your partner.
Ask some students to act their dialogues.
Step4. Listening
