Step1: Lead-in
Greeting
Show some pictures to students, and ask them to tell me “What is the people doing in the picture?”
Let students think about the questions “When do you usually do these activities?” in order to draw forth the title of the lesson “How was your weekend”
Writing the title “Lesson24: How was your weekend?”
Step2: Listening
Listen carefully and finish the activity 1 on P61.
① Ask students to speak out the answers of “What is Danny doing in the pictures?”
② Listen the tape and match the pictures with the questions.
③ Let students match one by one.
Step3: Reading
Read the lesson and finish the activity 2 on P61 within three minutes. Then ask some students to answer and translate these questions, at the same time, the teacher teach the important & difficult points. Finally, ask them to answer the question “How was Danny’s weekend?”
