三、教学步骤
(一) 新课导入,点明主题。
Tell a short story: Second Language. Let the students know the importance of English.
(二)自主学习,单词检测——我是单词王。
Take out OKAY BOOK, listen to the tape and repeat the new words. The student will get a score. Who gets the highest score, who is the winner.
(三)互助释疑,熟悉课文。
1. Act the dialogue in groups. Then find out the answers of the questions:
a. Why does Li Jing want to speak to Jenny?
b. How does Li Jing practice her English?
2. Listening practice. Listen and write true (T) or false (F). The teacher will ask four students to answer it, then find out the correct answers.
(四)巩固拓展,语法精讲。
1. Jenny and Li Jing have a good talk. 詹妮和李晶交谈的很愉快。
talk 谈论 谈到,不及物动词
talk 交谈, 名词
have a talk 常用固定搭配 进行交谈
have a good talk 谈得很好
Ask one student to translate this sentence into Chinese, then do some practice.
