Step1 Duty Report

Ask the student on duty today to read his/ her duty report.

设计意图:每节课前用三分钟让学生进行Duty report。尽量给学生提供更多的说的机会,这也是自己教学英语一直坚持的教学习惯。

Step2 Lead- in

Ask some questions: What do you think of your English?

How often do you call your friend?

Do you call your friend in Chinese or in English?

Can you make a phone call in English?

Step3 Presentation

Present the new words. First ask some students to try reading,then read after the teacher.After that ,help students learn how to use the words . Use some pictures,ask students to make some phrases with them or make sentences with them.

设计意图: 学会48个音标对初一学生来说很重要,学生既要会读单个的音标,还要会拼读一些简单的发音,因此我要求学生事先预习单词的任务是会拼读,课上让学生试读本课单词能督促学生学会音标,不断练习拼读,对学生学习英语语音是一个很好的习惯培养,也是一种英语学习能力的锻炼。读完之后对单词简单介绍,让学生用所学的词组成词组,加大生词的复现率,既练习了生词的读音,又练习了单词的用法,让学生思维处于活跃状态,词汇量也自然会不断丰富。
