四、学情分析
我所在的中学是一所农村学校,学生的基础比较薄弱,学生水平参差不齐,因此,我在教学中采用了小组合作教学,每组四人,分别有组长和副组长,采用一对一帮扶的形式,在教学活动中,通过设置情景,布置任务,尽量让每个学生都参与进来,让每个学生都有机会说英语,使每个学生都能体验到成功的喜悦,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
五、教学方法
本课采用布置任务、小组合作然后展示的教法,让学生易于接受教材内容,理解邮件内容,培养学生的语言运用能力。
教学过程
Step1 review
Ask the students the questions: what can you do with a good knowledge of English?
Step2.Lead in
Today we’ll learn Lesson 30 writing an E-mail in English look! This is Wangmei, she has a new pen pal, Her name is Jessia ,she is from Africa. Today we’ll learn Wangmei’s first e-mail to Jessica. How to write the first e-mail. you should introduce yourself. Teach the new word introduce ,It means 介绍,for example ,I introduce myself ,My name is Tianshuhui. I live in Baoding. I’m 1.65 metres tall. There are three people in my family.I have many friends. My favourite food is noodls.I can make noodls myself.I’m a teacher ,this is my pupil. she won first place last year. I’m proud of her.
Step3 task1
Work in groups, introduce yourself to your classmates, you can do it like this:
My name is ××.I’m...years old. I live in ......I have ......brothers or sisters, but I have many friends. I am 1.5 metres tall. I like to …My favourite food ......
Step4 Listen
Play the audiotape for Lesson30 and ask the students to answer the true-or-false questions. Then discuss the answers as a class and correct any false statements.(因为学生的基础较薄弱,所以在听时分段来听,给学生以信心)
Then listen again, tell the students to read along with the tape, ask the students to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
Step5 Read
(1)Instruct the students to read Lesson30 and answer the questions in pairs.
(2)Students should check and correct their answers in groups.
(3)Discuss the questions and answers as a class.(在学生回答问题时,教师解释try to do 和look forward to 的意思)
Step6 Exercises
Read the passage and fill in the blanks
Work in groups and fill in the blanks, then ask the students to fill in the blanks one by one.
Step7 Important points
Ask the students some words and phrases, then tell the students how to use the words and phrases, and ask the students to make sentences with them.
