Step1 Warming up:
Greetings:(Greet the students with everyday English.)
Revision: (Have a simple revision about the words, phrases& language points in unit5.)
Step2 Presentation:
Discuss: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?
What’s your favourite season? Why?
Did you notice the wild weather these years?
Display the new words, let the students learn one by one and try to remember them by heart.
Step3 Listen, read and practice:
Listen to the tape about the dialogue and try to get the general idea of the dialogue.
Fast-reading. Skim the dialogue in a few seconds and find out the answer: What’s Steven’s﹨ Kim’s﹨Jenny’s ﹨Danny’s favourite season?
Detailed- reading. Read the dialogue carefully and try to find out the reason: Why does he﹨ she like that season?
Over-reading: Work in groups. Read the dialogue carefully and put the sentences into correct order(Part2 on P83), then fill in the blanks.

Step4 Language points:
Read the dialogue carefully try to understand the meaning and find out the difficult sentences of the dialogue.

Step5 Consolidation.
Match the pictures with the correct exclamatory sentences.
