Step 1. Lead in
1. 1.Let students watch a video with a song that they are familiar with,then ask some questions:
-----What is the video about?
-----What is your favorite season?
----- Why do you like it best?
2.Pairwork. Let students work in pairs to make a conversation with the following questions:
What is your favourite season?
Why do you like it best?
What can you do in this season?
Step 2.Presentation
1.Asking students some questions while showing the key vocabulary on the blackboard
T: My favourite season is winter ,can you guess why?
S:.....
T: Winter is so amazing! I can’t wait for it.
Show and teach the key words and key sentences by screen.
Step 3.While-reading
1.(T: My friend Danny,he also likes winter best,let us read the article and know why he likes winter?)
Ask them read the article quickly ,then answer the following questings, then check one by one.
1.What is Danny doing ?And why?
2.Where can you find the article?
3.Which country is mentioned(提到)?
4.How is the weather there?
