Step 1.
Lead in and warm up
Begin with some riddles.
Guess the words with the help of the description.
Motivate the students and lead them to the topic.
Step 2.
Words and phrases
Show the words and phrases one by one on the screen.
The students are divided into two groups and have a contest. In each group, a student is chosen to stand in the front the classroom and guess out some words in the unit by getting hints from his partners. The hints can be gestures, words, sentences or anything else in English.
Raise students’ interests in English learning and develop their ability of communication and cooperation.
