一、导入环节（2分钟）
（一）导入新课，板书课题
导入语：: We all know doing sports is good for our health .Do you like doing sports?What’s your favourite sport? Danny’s school held a Sports Day . Do you want to know about the Sports Day?Today Let’s learn Lesson 39 Danny’ s Report. 板书 Lesson 39 Danny’s Report
（二）出示学习目标 （设计意图：明确学习目标，有目的的去学习。）
过渡语: First , look at the learning goals ,and Let’s read it together.
1.我能掌握本课的3个重点单词和6个重点短语。
2.我能通过阅读练习，掌握阅读技巧并学会用英语谈论有关运动会的内容。
3.我能养成爱运动的习惯。
过渡语: Are you clear ? I hope everyone listen carefully and work hard I believe everyone can achieve your goals .Now, Let’s study the first part :self-learning .
二、先学环节（12分钟）（设计意图：通过学生自主学习，掌握本科单词短语，并且为课文阅读扫清障碍。
过渡语:First look at the guidance carefully and then finish the tasks step by step.
1.自学单词并记忆3个重点单词。
2.翻译并记忆6个短语 。
