五、教学流程设计
Step1: lead in
Do you like staying home or going out?
What is good for you?
设计意图:问两个有关课文内容的简单问题,激发学生学习的兴趣,自然导入新课。
Step2: Show the learning aims on the screen.
设计意图:向学生出示本课的教学目标,目的是让学生对新学习的内容有所了解,做到心中有数,学有所依。
Step3: New lesson
1. Learn about some new words of the lesson
weight, air, lucky, side, put on weight, used to do, worry about, not…any more in the sun, get out, on one’s side
设计意图:对新单词和短语会读并知道其意思,为后面顺利学习课文和理解课文意思做好了铺垫并奠定了良好的基础。
2. Listening tasks: Listen to the tape and do Exercise 1 on Page 105.
Play the tape two times. If the students have trouble, play it more times.
设计意图:学生带着问题听录音,目的在于训练学生的听力,激起学生的求知欲,是大家都积极的参与到活动中。
3. Have them read the text in group. Then do Exercise 1 and 2 on Page105.
设计意图:让学生读课文通过小组讨论找到新短语及重点句型,目的是让学生以旧带新,在复习旧短语的过程中掌握新的短语。
