教学思路

本课主要涉及制定假期计划。在授课之前先让学生通过阅读了解对话中两个人的谈话内容。课上可让学生通过分组讨论的形式相互讨论;在此基础上,教师通过多媒体、图片向学生展示Danny在假期的主要活动及具体画面,并让学生了解假期中的各种活动形式。

教学过程

Step1 Lead- in

Lead in by discussing the following questions:

How did Danny do on the final exams?

How long will Danny stay in his uncle’s home?

What kind of ball game is Danny going to play?

Disscuss the questions in groups.The teacher shows four different pictures about Danny’s summer activities,such as,swimming,eating ice cream, playing tennis and playing football.

Ask the students to talk for three minutes. Then let them present the answers in class.

Step2 Listening

Listen to the tape and find the answers to the questions:

What will Danny do in the sun during his holiday?

What will he eat in the holiday?

Who is coming to look for Danny?

Finish the task in class in oral.

Step3 Reading

Read the dialogue and decide whether the statements are ture or false.

Jenny has a big summer holiday plan.
