Learn new words. Ask a student to explain these words.

三.1.Look at 1a and find out how to make a sandwich. Give students five minutes to read it and discuss the ways to make a sandwich.Then ask two students to tell us.

板书:First, you take two pieces of bread and put butter on them.

Next, cut a pear into small pieces. Then put them on the bread.

After that, pour some honey over the pear.

Finally, put them together.
