1.post(英)同义词是mail(美)

(1)作动词,意为“邮寄”,后接名词或代词作宾语。

post sb. sth.= post sth. to sb.意为“把某物寄给某人”。

例句:He posted the recorded tape to me.= He posted me the recorded tape.他把那盘录音带寄给了我。

(2)作名词,意为“邮政;邮件;邮寄”。

例句:I want to send a present to Danny by post.我想用邮寄的方式送给Danny一份礼物。

2.yet

(1)作副词,意为“仍然;还”,常用于否定句或疑问句中。

例句:---Have you finished your homework yet?

---Not yet.

(2)作连词,意为“然而;可是”,与but同义。
