Step 1. Warming-up & Lead in
1.Greetings.
2.Ask the Ss “What day was the day before yesterday?”Then show them a picture of “Mother’s Day”,
And go on asking the Ss “What did you do for your mother?” then tell them “I made a delicious breakfast for my mother.”
3. Introduce the snacks in Fuzhou.
Step 2. Understanding
1. Pre-listening:
= 1 \* GB3 ① Get the Ss to guess “Do you know what I made for my mother?” Lead in “sandwich”and get the Ss to make a brainstorming through a question “What do we need to make a sandwich?” .Then get the Ss to learn some new words and some useful expressions according to some pictures.
= 2 \* GB3 ② Picture talking, lead the students to predict “What are they talking about?”
2. While-listening:
First, listen and answer two questions.
Then listen again and complete the sentences about making the sandwich.
After that, answer two questions.
3. Post-listening:
First, listen and follow.
Then, read aloud together. Last, retell the dialogue according to pictures and key words.
