Step1: Greeting
Greet to the class.
Step2 : Lead in
Show several pictures of my hobbies. Introduce : M y hobby is travelling. My hobby is going shopping. Then lead in the title: What’s your hobby?
Step3 : Chain drill
S1: What’s your hobby?
S2: My hobby is ... What’s your hobby?
S3: M y hobby is ... and so on.
Step4 : Preview testing
Read the new words several times and find out the phrases.
Check each group in class.
Step5: Listening
Listen to the tape, fill in the blanks.
1 LiMing likes to _____ in his free time.
2. Yang Hao's hobby is _____.
3. Yi Han is interested in ____ concert tickets.
Step5: Role Play
Ss act out the dialogue.
Step6: Reading
Ss read for several minutes, then answer questions:
1. What does Wang Mei like to do in her free time?
2. Is collecting concert tickets LiLin’s hobby?
3. What 's Tao Xiao Lin ' s hobby?
Ss check in groups,then check in class.(Write on the blackboard.)
Step7 Group Work
Ss talk about the hobbies in groups. Then present to the class.
