会用英语表达自己当地天气情况,当地春天的情况。

教学重难点:(突出重点,让学生在有限的时间内掌握最多最有用的知识,切忌不能胡子眉毛一把抓)。

掌握一些与天气有关的词汇: fresh, warm, temperature, rain, sunshine

掌握这些句子:

Everyone longs for spring.

Spring is a short season in many places around the world.

The weather here is neither too hot nor too cold.

There’s plenty of sunshine too.

激发学生学习兴趣,让学生学会介绍自己所在地的天气情况.

教学过程:

Step1. Listen to a song The Sun Is Rising

Step2. T: Which season did you hear in this song?

Ss: Spring!

T:What can you see in spring?

Ss: Flowers, birds, budding trees…

T: Would you like to live in a place where there are springs all the time?

Ss:Yes.

T: Which city is the spring city?

Ss: Kunming

T: Yes, today let’s learn the spring city. (板书)Lesson 4: The Spring City

Step3: 出示学习目标。(Show learning aims)

Step4:learn new words: budding, nearly, millimeter, plenty, anytime

先出示音标,根据音标拼读单词,出示单词及汉语意思

一分钟记忆单词并提问

Step5:听听力并填空。(锻炼学生的听力水平,也对文章有了初步的了解)

When we think of spring, we think of a season of fine, warm ____ and clear, fresh air. We think of new life, green plants and _____ trees all around us.

Everyone ____ for spring.
