close up 意为“________”,它的反义词组是”open up”它们是由动词+副词构成的短语,遵循”代中名后”的原则. Eg:1.Tom,your books are on the table. Please _______(把他们收起来).2.There is something in the box, please _______(请打开它).
3.When it comes to laughing, this tree is really funny.
When it comes to…意为”当提到; 就…而论”,其后接名词,代词的宾格或动名词. Eg: when it comes to ______ (swim), no one matches him,
4.This plant can live as long as 1500 years , so people call it a living fossil.
as long as 意为”长达”. “ living”是形容词,意为”活的,活着的”,常做定语,放在所修饰的词前,其反义词为”dead”.
拓展: alive:活着的,在世的,常做表语,也可做定语,但必须放在所修饰的词之后.
Lively: 活泼的,生气勃勃的生动有趣的.可用于修饰人或其行为动作,还可以用于修饰事物.
