Five-finger Teaching Plan
Step 1 Review
结合复习宾语从句,复习Section B 所学的 eating in different countries,从而导入本课目目标语言 table manner。
Step 2 Presentation
①在PPT上展示西餐厅的图片以及西餐厅用具的细节图片,并让学生回答通过观察图片发现了什么(老师对学生回答不完整的进行补充);
②把西餐厅里的餐具分别以图片的形式展示出来,各图片下对应标注英文名称、音标以及汉语名称,用这种方式学习新单词;
③播放关于西餐厅餐桌礼仪的小视频,让学生仔细观看视频并回答影片中就餐的片段(影片能让学生更直观地了解西餐厅就餐礼仪)
在小黑板上出示问题:
What does dinner start with?
What should we do when we start eating?
Do you know how to behave in a fomal western dinner party?
④以小组的方式朗读课文进行讨论并核对答案。
Step 3 Consolidation
①Work in pairs: talk with your partner about the western table manners. Act out the conversation.
②请几组学生到讲台上用老师提供的道具,一人表演动作,一人用英语讲解。学生如有困难,老师可以引导学生互相补充。
③全班根据同学们的表演,按顺序回顾一遍本文中所提到的西餐厅的餐桌礼仪。
