By learning this lesson, students will have a preliminary understanding of how to describe animals in English and discuss animals with others. And they will wan to protect animals and be friends with animals.?重点Students can remember the new words and phrases.And they can use these words and phrases correctly.

(danger,dangerous,mainly,bamboo,giraffe ,be in danger and instead of)correctly。难点Describe and discuss animals with people in English correctly教学方法Teachers will use scene?teaching?method (such as playing background music and changing his intonation), heuristic instruction (teacher uses pictures to guide students to come up with answers step by step) and traditional teaching methods (Students take notes carefully. The teacher writes the knowledge on the blackboard) to explain the knowledge points of the class to the students. Students can learn and master knowledge in the form of teamwork and team competition.

教学过程Step 1 Lead-in(5分钟)

Greet?the?students?in?English.?

The teacher introduces the student to the subject of lesson 15 and asks the student the meaning of the title. Then he shows students pictures of Jenny and Brain in front of the zoo. Then he would provide the students with a background story-the three had no class today and decided to go out for fun. Finally, he asks the students to observe try to find out that the three were going to the zoo

(Design purpose:The students were inspired by the pictures and can observe that the three men were going to the zoo.)

Step 2 Let’s study the new words!

In this part,teacher will teach students the key knowledge of lesson15 by PPT and blackboard-writing.And teacher will teach students new words by playing a radio and leading the reading.Then teacher will explain new words one by one and give students some example sentence s.In the end,teacher will choose some students to make their own sentences by using the words or phrases which they just have learned.And teacher will correct students’ mistakes in time.

(Design purpose:Teacher will help students to master the new words by the combination of traditional Teaching and Modern Multimedia Teaching Technology.It makes students remember new words more easily.)

Step3:Looking for the 5W

5W means when, where,who,why,how.

In the activity,teacher will divide students into 5 groups.And students will discuss with their group members to finish their job:the first group’s job is finding out “when”;the second group’s is finding out “where”;the third group’s job is finding out “who”and the forth group’s job is finding out”why”,the fifth group’s job is finding out”how”. The teacher will give students 3 minutes to finish their job.After the discussion,students will share their answer to other students.And if the student’s answer is right,his group will get one point.

(Design purpose:Students can’t finish this work alone.And students can develop their sense of cooperation and collective honor)

Step?4:Let’s study together !

In this activity,teacher will help students to review the “how”of the 5W.Then teacher will show some pictures about the sign such as.No smoking and no parking.In the process,teacher will ask students to find out the verb of every sign and write out the Verb prototype.

Teacher will help students finish the work by the form of ?competitive answering game and teacher will write the right answer on the blackboard.

And teacher will lead students to the the sentence :Look!There is a bear.And he is sleeping.Teacher will ask students to fill in the blanks.In the end,teacher will ask students to put two sentences together in a single sentence

(Design purpose:The teacher arouses the students' interest by showing pictures. and attract students' attention by competitive answering game . This way can help students to master the prototype of phrases and verbs.At the same time, it students can learn the conversion of simple sentence and compound sentence.)

Step5:Do you know pandas?

In this activity,teacher will ask students a question--- --- Do you know pandas?And then teacher will ask students to turn to page 47 .Teacher will read the article first and try to translate it with students.In the end,teacher will show some words about pandas in the PPT and ask students if it right or not.

(Design purpose:Students can know about pandas by learning the short article。And it’s helpful for students to write a passage.)

Step?6:Exercise

In this activity,teacher will give students 3 minutes to finish this exercise.When student finished this job,teacher will choose 6students at random to share their answers.In the end,teacher will check the answers with students.

(Design purpose:Students can develop a good learning habit by finish this exercise by themselves.And teacher can also master the studying situation of this lesson of students.And teacher can correct students’ mistakes in time.)

Step?7:Language points

In this activity,teacher will teach students the most important knowledge in lesson 15.Each knowledge point will have a small practice. The teacher will test the student's learning by random or class-wide answers.

(Design purpose:Through the form of language points, students can understand the key knowledge of this class. Teachers can also understand the students' learning situation.)

Step?8:Homework

In this activity, the teacher will assign two assignments to the students.

One is to recite words and phrases. And make sentences with new words.
