3、情感目标:

①使学生懂得喜欢听好话、奉承话容易受骗上当的道理。

②帮助学生在运用一般过去时基础上,进一步建立合作学习模式,乐于与人交流,能针对故事中的狐狸和乌鸦谈出自己的感受和想法,提高学生之间的合作意识。

三.教学重点

New Words(单词):crafty, convey, character, crow, beak, flatter—flattery, gobble, beware.

New Phrases(短语): put on one’s best smile; let go of sb/sth; smile up;

be annoyed with oneself for doing sth.

New Sentences(句型): so … that…

四.教学难点

1、教学生大声朗读课文,掌握这则寓言的寓意。

2、鼓励学生尝试着用自己的语言描述这则寓言。

3、提高学生的口语水平和语言运用能力。

五.教学流程

Class Opening:

1. Greeting

2. Warming up(Show a picture, encourage students speak in English.)

T: What can you see in the picture?

S1: I can see a fox and a crow.

T: What ‘s in crow’s month? Can you guess?

S2: A piece of meat、bread … .

T: Maybe you are right. In one word, something to eat in crow’s beak. We can also see a fox under the tree. Do you know what happened to them ?

Teaching of new lesson

Step 1 Listen and answer(Search for the general information)

◆ What are the characters in the fable?

◆ What happened when the crow was ready to eat the cheese?

◆ Did the crow feel happy when she heard the fox’s praise?

◆ Was the crow happy in the end?

1. Have students write their answers by listening.

2. Ask students discuss the questions in groups.

3. Check the answers.
