Ⅱ、教学过程(Teaching procedures):

Step1 Lead-in. Have a free talk with the students.

Look at the picture. What are they doing ? (Ss) They are raising money. But we are all students, How can we make money? Now let’s learn Lesson25. Then find out what Jenny, Danny and Brian will do?

Step2 Students learn by themselves. Read the text,then translate the words and phrases.自主学习。朗读预习课文,翻译单词和短语。

Step3 Listen and answer.播放课文录音并提出问题,学生听录音后回答问题,培养学生整体获取信息的能力。

Step4 Read together.朗读,培养良好的语感,加深对课文的理解。

Step5 Students learn and discuss the text in groups, find out the key points and analyze them. 突出学生主体地位,以小组为单位学习新课,找出重难点并讨论,之后小组代表向全班讲解。老师用多媒体点拨知识点,是指导者和协助者。通过教师教学方式的转变引导学生学习方式的转变,充分体现新课程自主、合作、探究的学习方式,培养团队协作精神。

Step6 Drill the students in reading the text in rows/teams/ groups, etc. 组织学生以全体/排/大组/小组/男女生等形式进行多方位朗读操练,教师巡视并给予个别指导。

Step7 Do the exercises in class. 当堂练习,检测教学效果。

Step8 Discussion(Thinking/talking/writing).

If you are Danny’s classmate,how can you make money for the basketball team? 讨论,培养语言运用能力,培养互助精神,合作精神。

Step9 Ask the students to summarize what we have learnt today. 请学生小结本课内容,培养锻炼学生综合归纳能力。

Step10 Assign homework.

Think of more ways to help the team make money.

Ⅳ、教学反思:

采用“读、议、展、点、练”教学模式,使学生的听、说、读、写能力都得到了训练。充分发挥学生的主体作用(读、议、展、练)和教师的指导作用(点),让学生在小组里交流自己的意见,并把自己的成果展示给全班同学,培养学生自主、合作、探究学习方式,使学生成为学习的主人。
